Ultimate Pizza Toastie
Makes one toastie
Ingredients:
- 2 slices of ciabatta bread
- 1⁄2 tomato sliced
- 6-8 slices of pepperoni salami
- A handful of basil leaves
- Pizza base sauce
- Stracchino cheese (or cheese of choice for melting)
- Olive oil
Directions:
- Lightly brush the outside of the bread with olive oil
- Spread the pizza base generously over both slices of bread
- Layer the tomato, basil, pepperoni and cheese
- Pop into the sandwich press and toast until cheese has melted and bread is golden brown
