Tropical OJ Icey Poles | Snacks That Won’t Ruin Dinner

Got an empty tummy to fill after school or activities but don’t want your recipe to ruin the chances of the evening meal getting eaten? These snacks will help fill the gap. They are fast and simple to create, and will provide a much needed energy boost while still leaving room for dinner.

Tropical OJ Icey Poles

Makes 6

Ingredients:

  • 1 mango
  • 1⁄2 cup mango juice
  • 1⁄2 a pineapple
  • 2 large oranges

Directions:

  • Using a food processor, blend the mango and mango juice for approx 1 – 2 minutes
  • Pour a little into each of the ice block molds
  • Pop into the freezer for 15 minutes
  • Blend the pineapple in the same way and top up the ice block molds
  • Pop back into freezer for15 minutes • Blend the oranges and pour into the ice block molds, this time insert the sticks
  • Pop back into the freezer for 4-6 hours until completely frozen
