Mango Sorbet – Snack

Snack 2/20

Snack_Feature_Families_MagazineServes 2 – 3, prep time 5mins, setting time 4 – 5 hours

Ingredients:

  • 1 large mango
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon hot water

Method:

  1. Dissolve sugar in hot water.
  2. Remove mango flesh from seed and skin and place in a food processor with sugar and water on high until smooth.
  3. Pour mango mixture into a metal bowl, cover with cling wrap and place in the freezer for several hours until firm (but not too hard. If it becomes too hard, leave to sit on the bench for several minutes until it softens).
