This list will give you lots of good ideas, some of which I have done myself, for Mothers Day outings in Brisbane this year.

Mother’s Day this year falls on Sunday 12 May 2024

We all agree that Mums are special people and should be spoiled on Mother’s Day. We’ve searched Brisbane to find the most unique and family fun breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinners for Mother’s Day Brisbane. We’ve even got a fun run and some pampering ideas too!

What should I do for Mother’s Day in Brisbane?

These ideas are on offer in 2024 and they will suit every budget and every Mum.

1. Mother’s Day Breakfast at Victoria Park

Here’s an idea for Mother’s Day and one we love so much, we booked the breakfast option for ourselves last year! 🙂

1) Breakfast Buffet | Victoria Park Marquee | 7:30am – 10am

With sparkling wine on arrival, Mum will have the best start to her Mother’s Day at Victoria Park’s Breakfast Buffet in the Marquee. With a jumping castle, face painters, raffle tickets and fundraisers for their Charity Partner CPL Queensland, there’s fun for the whole family.

Prices: $45 Adult, $25 Child (aged 4-12), Children under 4, FREE

2) Chandon Brunch | Victoria Park Ballroom | From 11:30am, three session times available

Treat Mum to Chandon Brut on arrival, a tasty brunch menu selection, live music, a photobooth, raffle tickets for their Charity Partner CPL Queensland, and a face painter for the kids. The perfect day out in celebration of all that your Mum does.

Prices: $85 Adult, $35 Child (Aged 4-12), Children under 4, FREE

3) A La Carte Dining

Celebrate with breakfast, lunch or dinner at the Bistro! With face painting on offer for the day, giant games on the lawn and an adventure playground to keep the kids entertained, the Victoria Park Bistro is the ideal location to celebrate Mum!

2. Mother’s Day High Tea at Bacchus

We have done a high tea at Bacchus, South Bank, and we loved it! Bacchus is located in Rydges Hotel and at their Mother’s Day high tea you will enjoy a glass of sparkling wine (or non-alcoholic option) on arrival and be pampered with a delicious menu of sweet and savoury treats including freshly baked scones, delicate finger sandwiches, and a variety of cakes and pastries, accompanied by your choice of Harney & Sons tea or coffee. In 2024 there will be live entertainment by Alisha Todd!

The following time slots are available: 11am, 1pm or 3pm, and the high tea costs $89 per person.

You are advised to book early here as this will definitely be a popular option for Mother’s Day in Brisbane! 

3. Regatta Hotel

  • Address: Level 2 of The Regatta Hotel, 543 Coronation Dr, Toowong.

This year the Regatta Hotel has four offerings for Mother’s Day!

1 & 2) Two Options for Mother’s Day Breakfast

This is the one we booked this year! Yum! Cannot wait!! At the Regatta Hotel you can treat Mum to a morning of indulgence paired with a delectable spread of culinary delights. The chefs have crafted a special menu featuring an array of mouthwatering dishes, from fluffy pancakes adorned with fresh berries to savoury omelettes bursting with flavour. With attentive service and a warm ambience, the Boatshed promises to make this Mother’s Day one to remember.

Prices: $30 per person | $15 per child ( 4-12 yrs) for set menu

Prices: $50 per person | $15 per child (4-12 yrs) for buffet

3) Mother’s Day High Tea

Their high tea is a 2 hours beverage package consisting of tea, coffee, sparking wine and mumosas as well as a tiered high tea stand filled with all your favourite sweet and savoury treats that will leave you feeling fulfilled. Please note this is an 18+ event!

Price: $75 per person with beverages | $60 per person without beverages

4) Mother’s Day Luncheon

There will be no need for anyone to cook on Sunday if you choose to spoil her with a luncheon at The Iconic Regatta Hotel. Indulge in a delicious three course set menu that has been meticulously crafted by our head chef for this special day!

Prices: $75 per person | $15 per child (4-12yrs)

4. Sirromet Mother’s Day events

This Mother’s Day, Sirromet is hosting a number of special events to honour Mum in grand style. Our pick is this a lavish morning high tea at the exquisite setting of Lurleen’s. Show your love and gratitude by treating her to an indulgent experience she won’t soon forget.

Their menu boasts a tantalising array of savoury delights, both hot and cold, as well as irresistible sweet treats, all elegantly arranged on a three-tiered stand. Enhance the occasion with bottomless sparkling wine or Mimosas to add a touch of effervescence to the festivities.

5. Paradise Country Festival on the Farm

6. Mt Cotton Retreat – Mother’s Day High Tea

Celebrate Mothers’ Day with High Tea at Mt Cotton Retreat – it is the perfect Mother’s Day brunch Brisbane has to offer. This intimate location, surrounded by bushland, is the perfect place to gather, chat, laugh and enjoy being together.

The menu starts with a glass of sparkling French cuvee or non-alcoholic sparkling prosecco as well as 5 tempting sweet treats and 4 different savoury bites with bottomless plunger coffee and leaf teas all included. 7. Mother’s Day at The Glen Hotel

The Glen Hotel on Brisbane’s Southside are hosting breakfast, lunch and dinner offers especially for Mother’s Day Brisbane. From 7am – 10am there will be a delicious buffet breakfast. There will be two jumping castles located behind the Marquee Courtyard which will be open for the little ones to enjoy.

From 1pm – 5pm you can sit back and enjoy the tunes of acoustic live music on The Deck, as you wine and dine Mum. Dinner is available from 5.30pm – 9pm.

Don’t forget to send a MSG 4 Mum. Send in your messages for Mum to be shown on the large roadside LED screen throughout the day.

10. Brisbane Mother’s Day at Cloudland 2024

  • Address: 641 Ann Street, Fortitude Valley – Rose Room, Level 3 at Cloudland.

Say thank you with a mouth-watering spread, including live food stations, alongside grazing tables stacked with goodies like cheese and charcuterie. With plenty of accompaniments and fresh, seasonal salads to choose from, mum will be spoilt for choice at this two-and-a-half hour foodie extravaganza.

11. Mother’s Day Classic 2024

Looking for some different Mother’s Day activities in Brisbane? The Mother’s Day Classic is an annual fun run and walk raising funds and awareness for breast cancer research. Their aim is to deliver a fun, healthy and inspirational community event that brings the community together on Mother’s Day to support and remember those touched by breast cancer.

This year, you can choose between Brisbane or Gold Coast to take part in one of their major events. Local events are also held in various towns around Queensland including Toowoomba and Hervey Bay.
