The school covers Prep to Year 6 and offers a range of academic, sporting, music and social development programs. Each year classes are re-aligned to ensure all children are catered for, and the programs are consistently reviewed to reflect changing needs and developments in education.

Curriculum and Extracurricular activities offered:

Graceville State School’s distinctive curriculum offers an enhancement program for high achieving students, with multi-age classes for Years 3-4 and 5-6. High achieving students also have the opportunity to link with Corinda and Indooroopilly high schools and the Queensland Academy of Maths, Science and Technology, to extend their learning.

The school also has a Special Education Program for Students with Disabilities.

In addition to the core curriculum, Graceville State School offers a range of extra-curricular activities. Students take part in Interschool Sport and can also join the Swimming Club and Tennis Club.

The music program gives students access to tuition in a range of musical instruments. They can also join various music and choral groups.

Graceville State School also has Student Council leadership, and students can take part in the Young Rotarians and overseas study tours. There are also school camps for Year 5 and 6 students.
