Mayors Christmas Carols | Gold Coast

In 2021, the 10th Mayor’s Christmas Carols will be hosted at HOTA (Home of the Arts) in Surfers Paradise on Saturday 4 December from 5pm – 9pm. With a COVID-safe crowd of 2,500 people, the 2021 Carols will also be broadcast for the first time on local free to air TV. While the event will be free, tickets are strictly limited, and bookings will be essential.

2021 Mayors Christmas Carols Event Information

The Mayors Christmas Carols is one of the biggest Christmas events on the Gold Coast

There will be an incredible line up performers including some famous faces as well as local talent. They will be singing all your favourite Christmas carols. Children will be delighted by special entertainment that is sure to get them dancing and singing.

The free event will boast a bunch of food truck  and of  course no Christmas concert would be complete without a visit from Santa and his helpers up on stage!

There is also pre-show entertainment including Santa meet & greet, Christmas craft workshop and face painting.

The main show kicks off at 5pm, with the kid’s fun commencing at 2pm. With a fireworks extravaganza to finish off the show!

There will be food and drinks available (via foodtrucks) to purchase at the Mayors Christmas Carols. Or you can bring along a picnic for your family. Keep in mind this event is strictly alcohol free.

For The Kids

On the day there will be heaps for the kids to do! There will be a Santa meet & greet, Christmas craft workshop and face painting. The show will also include a high profile Christmas kids show and Singing Santa show.

Before the event you could also check out Surfers Paradise as there is a heap there for kids!

Getting There

Address: 135 Bundall Road, Surfers Paradise, QLD, 4217

Parking, including wheelchair accessible parking, is available at the HOTA – but it’s limited. There are two main carparks, one in front of HOTA Central and a second carpark directly in front of HOTA Gallery.

Alternatively you can avoid the hassle and catch the G:Link light rail.
