Exploring around Bilambil Heights with Kids

Perched up in the hinterland of the Tweed Coast, living in Bilambil heights affords you the luxury of being super close to incredible beaches, and bushland to get out and about to explore with your kids.

Kingscliff Beach, Fingal Beach, Coolangatta and Kirra are just short drives from home. And of course, the beautiful broadwater of Tweed River offers some crystal clear spots to have a splash or drop a line in to catch yourself some super-fresh dinner.

If you’re not keen on fishing yourself, fear not … PKG Seafood, Scales Seafood or the Top Shop will supply it for you!

Greenmount Beach is just a short drive from Bilambil Heights.

A little bushwalking adventure

If you are keen to check out the Terranora Broadwater by foot, you can’t go past the incredible, accessible walk that takes you from Bilambil right around to Seagulls Club.

You can access the walk from the boat ramp on Peninsula Drive, or at the club end if you don’t fancy negotiating the super-steep drive down to the ramp. Parking is available at the rear of the club in the far right-hand corner of the parking area. Follow the path behind the fenced-off compound and the walk commences just past the Oyster Farm.

A rainforest on your doorstep

The little known John Hogan Rain Forest is located just behind Bilambil Heights and has spectacular palm rainforest walks and picnic spots. The beautiful drive through the ancient and lush green landscape is worth the trip alone.

Featuring two restaurants, a gym with a creche AND the super popular play centre, Tabatinga, Seagulls Club is really great resource for families living in and around Bilambil Heights.
