St Thomas More College is a Catholic co-educational school located in Sunnybank, Brisbane. Catering for years 7-12, St Thomas More College has undergone significant building refurbishment works over the past few years.

The College has a new Resource Centre with three breakout study rooms and a mezzanine level classroom, all featuring electronic whiteboards, and space for the after-school Homework Club. There’s also a 1:1 laptop program, IT Support Services, and Wi-Fi access across the campus.

Students undertaking Industrial Technology and Design and Furniture Making certificates through TAFE use two workshops in the Practical Arts Centre. The centre also incorporates a lab with Mac computers and two art rooms.

There’s a Hospitality Precinct with industrial kitchen for senior students and another kitchen for junior students, as well as a servery and adjoining dining room.

The college’s Multi-Purpose Centre has a stage with full sound and lighting for dramatic productions, celebratory events and college assemblies. The centre is also used for a variety of sporting activities. Music rooms and a complete recording studio are located alongside the centre.
There’s a university-style lecture theatre that seats 150 people and can be split into three individual classrooms, or opened as one large classroom.

St Thomas More College offers a variety of co-curricular activities, mostly in the areas of sport, arts and music.

The College takes part in the South East Colleges Association (SECA) Sporting Competition, which takes place in terms 2 and 3. Students participate in rugby league, netball, basketball, soccer, volleyball, tennis and touch football, and have the opportunity to be selected for district, regional and state representation.

Teams also participate in the state-wide QISSRL Confraternity Carnival (Rugby league) and QISSN Carnival (netball), Schools Cup Volleyball, All Schools Touch Football, and the Bill Turner Cup.

St Thomas More College has a strong instrumental music program with experienced instrumental music tutors providing both individual and group music lessons. The College has a variety of choirs and ensembles, including a drumline, marching band and colourguard, that perform at ANZAC Day marches, eisteddfods and numerous College events.

The Performing Arts department organises a major production each year, alternating between musical and dramatic productions.
