Whether you are after fresh produce, crafts, gifts or just a stroll in the sun, a visit to your local market is a lovely way to spend the day. You can usually count on free entry, free entertainment, and free parking too – bonus, right?

So, where should we go? We’re truly spoiled for choice here in our part of the world. There’s eat streets, farmer’s markets, artisan craft markets and bric-a-brac a plenty. You just have to know where to find it – and we can help! Read on  …

Surfers Paradise Beachfront Markets

The Sufers Paradise Beachfront Markets features a plethora of artisan and iconic Australian goods, fresh produce, gourmet provisions, handmade wares and much more. They offer free parking, free entry, kids activities, live music, and are pet friendly (as long as your furry friend is on a leash!)

Sanctuary Markets Currumbin

Looking to try out some local and international street food? Why not try the Sanctuary Markets in Currumbin! Enjoy free entry to the markets and enjoy live music, an air-conditioned dining area and bar, and best of all; free parking!

Please note that this is a dog free market.

Miami Marketta Arts Creative and Street Food

For all art and food loving night owls, the Miami Marketta is for you! Boasting a fusion of fashion, art and all things handmade, this eclectic marketplace is a haven for art lovers and creatives alike. Enjoy a vast array of food stalls that transport you to a different country!

Kingscliff Night Markets 

Bring the entire family (including dogs) to enjoy an alcohol free event and explore the Kingscliff Night Markets! Enjoy food and craft stalls, and take the kids to the petting zoo, or have some fun with some face paint!

Byron Artisan (Twilight) Markets

The Byron Twilight Markets hosts a large array of local artists, including musicians, crafters and musicians. Enjoy live music performed by local artists and bands, while browsing stalls with handmade goodies. It’s the perfect place for the whole family to relax.

Carrara Markets

Carrara Markets is the biggest permanent weekend marketplace in Australia. With over 300 stalls to explore, it’s a treasure trove of the curious and the unusual. Enjoy fresh produce, fashion, homewares, pots, plants, bric a brac, souvenirs, arts and crafts. Looking for something to entertain the kids? The Carrara Markets have you covered! Your kids can enjoy pony rides, baby animal farm, bungee trampolines and face painters!

Chinatown Street Markets

Brunswick Heads Riverside Markets

Watch the riverside come alive with the many artisan stalls, which provide clothing, plants, food, candles, soaps, coffee, and more. The products found at the Brunswick Heads Markets are a mix of locally made and imported goods. The delicious hot food is not to be missed. You can also pick up a few fresh groceries. Free parking is available.

Kingscliff Lions Beachside Markets

At Kingscliff Beachside Markets, you will find a well-selected group of stallholders who are small business creatives, ranging from artists, designers, jewellers and food vendors from local farmers to deli specialists.

Mullumbimby Community Market

Mullumbimby Community Market is a buzzing little family festival! Explore stalls that hold artisan clothing, jewellery and home wares, plants, up-cycled and retro stalls, eco-products, massage, face painting, fresh juices, healing crystals and enjoy grassy areas to relax on. Please note that no dogs are allowed.

Bundall Farmers’ Market

The Bundall Farmers’ Market hosts a large array of stalls, selling a great range of fresh produce and gourmet delights. Stalls are brimming with vegetables and fruit straight from growers, fresh meat and fish, cheeses, oils, olives, cakes and slices, baked goods and bread, smallgoods, dips and biscuits, jams and pickles, and other gourmet delights as well as a few organic beauty products.

Burleigh Markets

The Burleigh Markets is your local market for all things fresh! Coolangatta Markets

The Coolangatta Markets showcases the best local artisans and the great street food talents from the Northern Rivers and the Gold Coast alike.

The Byron Bay Community Market hosts an eclectic collection of market stalls that showcase what Byron has to offer. Explore the market stalls while enjoying the live music.

Pottsville Beach Markets

At the Pottsville Beach Markets you can purchase farm fresh produce, plants, home-made treats, local art/craft, clothing and jewellery, home décor/kitchenware, nic-nax and much more.

Tell your friends and neighbours and bring your children along for amusement and music activities. Grab a drink and snag from our community barbeque which operates each market Sunday.

Bangalow Village Market
