Are Gold Coast night markets family friendly?
Yes! As with any public event, your children are definitely your own responsibility and you need to keep a close eye on them.
That being said, though, you’re in for a real treat. Depending on which market you attend you’ll find:
- A huge array of street food, international cuisine and old-fashioned family favourites
- Rides!
- Face painting!
- Musical acts and performances!
- Dancing!
- Some markets are pet friendly! (Check in advance to avoid a disappointed pooch)
- Opportunities to socialise, catch up and meet new people! (Particularly appealing to the teenagers in your house)
- Local colour and flavour
- A really strong sense of community and good times
Night markets!
There’s something about markets at night that make them extra fun, particularly in the summer months. Enjoy! And who knows – you might even catch the occasional fireworks display!
