Coolum Aqua Park – where all the cool kids are going
BLAST Aqua Park (otherwise known as Coolum Aqua Park) is actually the largest of its kind in the WORLD. You’re looking at over 700 square metres of inflatable, wet and wild bouncy FUN designed for everyone over the age of six.
Inter-connecting walkways lead you around a HUGE variety of the kind of equipment that kids go NUTS for. You’re looking at…

Heading to Coolum Aqua Park – Dos and Don’ts
DO:
- Arrive at least a half hour early for your session. You need to sign some legal stuff and get a safety briefing and THEN ALSO be on the beach ready to go ten minutes before you start.
- Stretch beforehand! This is a place where you’re going to get some serious air. If you’ve got old bones (me) or you’re just not as flexible as you used to be (also me) prepare to be walking stiff the next day!
- Bring your own food and drinks! There are BBQ’s and picnic tables ready to use.
- Make a booking via the website in advance!
DON’T:
- Arrive late to a session and expect to be let through. This will muck up not only your experience but it will impact the others already involved in the session. Just wait it out.
- Don’t forget sun safety! Particularly if your session is in the hot part of the day – cover up and be sun smart as much as you possibly can.
- Take kids in who are under the age of 3. If they’re between 3 and 6 you need to be COMPLETELY WITH THEM 100% of the time. This is for your child’s safety so please don’t ask that the rules be bent for you!
- Bring alcohol or glass.
