Christmas Carols in Brisbane always guarantee a fun family night out due to the Queensland weather and unrivaled community spirit. So many community groups go above and beyond to spread Christmas cheer each year. The great news is we will see a lot of Christmas Carols in Brisbane events go ahead in 2025!

Christmas Carols signal that the festive season’s in full swing in shopping centres, on the radio and even when you’re on hold during a phone call… but nothing beats going to a live event to sing along and share the Christmas spirit.

You know it’s Christmas when you hear the beautiful carols sung by the Rhapsody Chorus. Sing a long to Christmas carols with Rhapsody Chorus.

Brassall Christmas in the Park | Brassall 2025

Go along to Ipswich’s favourite and longest running community Christmas event. With a wonderful line up of local performers, an outstanding live orchestra, a vast array of food trucks, the Christmas markets and a fantastic fireworks finale, this will be an event not to be missed. Lord Mayor’s Lighting of the Christmas Tree | Brisbane

This year, the Lighting of the Christmas Tree presented by The Lott by Golden Casket will be held at King George Square on Friday 28 November 2025 from 6.30pm.

The festivities will include live musical performances of cherished Christmas tunes, including a special performance by Dami Im, as Lord Mayor Adrian Schrinner illuminates the impressive 22-metre tree- marking the beginning of the Christmas festivities in Brisbane!

Following the official lighting event, the Christmas Tree will remain in King George Square for all to enjoy this festive season. Find out more here.

Get into the Christmas spirit this festive season in Moreton Bay. Pack a picnic blanket and jingle your way down to Kinsellas Sports Complex in North Lakes on Saturday 29 November from 4pm – 8pm for a truly spectacular evening.

Meet Santa and snap up a photo with your family. Santa’s Village will feature Christmas-themed roving entertainment, kids workshops, free face-painting and more! Treat the family to a delicious meal from one of their food trucks available at the event. You will be spoiled for choice!

Christmas Carols Aspley Hornets | Aspley 2025

Tis the time to sing and dance and bring in the Christmas spirit that we all love. The Aspley Hornets would like to invite the whole family to go and enjoy free Christmas Carols on the Field.

Lord Mayor’s Christmas Carols | Brisbane 2025

The Lord Mayor’s Christmas Carols is Brisbane’s premier annual Christmas event and returns on Saturday 6 December in 2025 to spread joy to the world with a dazzling evening of high kicks, high notes and hijinks.

The Lord Mayor’s Christmas Carols is Brisbane’s biggest festive celebration, lighting up Riverstage with world-class performances, sing-along classics, and sparkling Christmas magic. Hosted by Sylvia Jeffreys and Tim Davies, this year’s concert features an incredible line-up including Bluey & Bingo, Dami Im, the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo, the Brisbane City Gospel Choir, and more.

Held on Saturday 6 December 2025, the main event at Riverstage includes pre-show entertainment from 6pm and a spectacular live show from 7–9pm. Tickets start from $5 and are available via Ticketmaster.

Can’t make it? Enjoy the carols at the free livestream event at Roma Street Parkland, complete with food trucks, pre-show fun from 5pm, and a huge outdoor screening of the concert.

Proudly presented by Brisbane City Council and Toyota, and supporting the Lord Mayor’s Charitable Trust, this is Brisbane’s ultimate way to kick off the festive season. Bring your family, pack a picnic, and get ready for a magical night of Christmas cheer.

Murrumba Christmas Spectacular | Murrumba Downs 2025

The sweet sounds of Christmas carols will bring the joy of Christmas to John Oxley Reserve on Saturday 6th December for the Murrumba Christmas Spectacular.

Bring your little elves along for this very merry, north of Brisbane Xmas carols community event. Featuring food trucks, stage entertainment, kids activities and of course Christmas carols you’re sure to get into the Christmas spirit. Plus don’t miss a visit from Santa and the fireworks show at 8pm!

Organisers are excited that The Hills Community Carols presented by GVK Lions Club Inc, Ferny Districts Amateur Fishing Club and Moreton Bay Regional Council are back in 2025 at George Willmore Park!! Treat yo’elf to an amazing afternoon of entertainment, rides, food stalls, face painting, fireworks and a visit from Santa. Multicap’s Christmas Carols brings together Multicap friends, families, and the local community to celebrate the festive season!

There will be markets, live music, food vendors, art, free activities and games for everyone to enjoy. Multicap’s creative arts team will also play an active role, showcasing their unique artwork, with an on-site cafe serving food and drinks at the event.

City of Logan Christmas Carols | Logan

The City of Logan Christmas Carols is the city’s biggest annual Christmas event, celebrating the magic and joy of the festive season. Take your own picnic or enjoy a fantastic variety of delicious foods. Have a free photo with Santa, enjoy free face painting, and stroll through the markets, all jam-packed into one magical day.

It wouldn’t be a Christmas celebration without carols! This free, family-friendly event will have you singing along to all your favourite Christmas carols with the amazing stage show. The city’s biggest annual Christmas event is back and heading to Griffith University Logan Campus – a location loved by many for its spacious layout and convenient parking.

Flagstone Twilight Markets & Community Carols | Flagstone 2025

Flagstone Twilight Markets will return in collaboration with a carol event on Saturday 6 December 2025. Delicious food trucks will be at the event to fill hungry tummies and Santa will be visiting too! Enjoy the magical Christmas spirit as you listen and sing-a-long to your favourite Christmas carols.

Centenary Community Carols | Middle Park 2025

The Centenary Salvation Army hosts the annual Carols in the Park, held at The Peter Lightfoot Oval for the Centenary Suburbs. This popular event is sponsored by local businesses and organizations and is attended by thousands every year.

This year’s Carols in the Park will be held on Sunday, December 7, 2025. There will be afternoon activities and the Twilight Markets from 3.30pm, followed by stage shows, a concert featuring many popular carols at 6.50pm and fireworks at 8pm, guest artists and Santa, food and crafts available for purchase, and so much more.

Bracken Ridge Carols Spectacular is a marvelous festival, Christmas show and fireworks event taking place on Norris Road State School’s oval. The festival kicks off at 4pm with delicious food trucks, markets and rides (armbands for unlimited rides for $15). This free Christmas show will include plenty of popular carols from 7pm with fireworks at the finale. Bring your picnic rugs and camping chairs and prepare for a wonderful night of celebrating Christmas together!
