Lord Mayor’s Christmas Carols | Brisbane
7 December @ 4:00 pm - 9:00 pm
The Lord Mayor’s Christmas Carols is Brisbane’s premier annual Christmas event and returns on Saturday 2 December in 2023 to spread joy to the world with a dazzling evening of high kicks, high notes and hijinks.
Hosted by Queensland’s first lady of song, Naomi Price, this world-class evening of entertainment features a cavalcade of stars from stage and screen including Dami Im, Johnny Manuel, Caroline O’Connor, Swing on This, Loren Hunter, Rebecca Cassidy, Jack Chambers, Irena Lysiuk, Alisha Todd and Brooke Schubert. Audience favourites The Jingle Belles return in 2023 under the direction of superstar chorographer Kate Wormald and of course – it wouldn’t be Christmas without a VIP visit from Santa himself!
This year’s Lord Mayor’s Christmas Carols will be more accessible than ever with Auslan interpretation, audio description, tactile tour, accessible viewing platform, dedicated Auslan area and the first ever low sensory zone at the Riverstage.

Tickets for the Lord Mayor’s Christmas Carols will go on sale at 10am Tuesday 14 November 2023 via Ticketmaster.
Please note tickets are limited. Tickets are $5 each for patrons aged 18 years and over (under 18 years of age are free but they still need to book a free ticket).
Victoria Park satellite event
This year, the Lord Mayor’s Christmas Carols will be live streamed by Channel Nine from Brisbane Riverstage into Victoria Park, allowing more families to share in the magic of this event. Purchase a selection of sweet and savoury snacks from food trucks or pack a picnic basket and blanket and round up your family and friends for a night of Christmas singing and celebration under a starry Brisbane summer sky.
Join in the festive fun on Victoria Park’s rolling green hills, with entry from 4.30pm. Pre-show entertainment starts at 5pm and enjoy live pre-show entertainment by jazz entertainers SCAT as the sun sets. This event will feature pre-show entertainment, food trucks and a whole lot of family-friendly fun. Find out more.
