The facilities at Zillmere Library include: an after hours chute, Photocopier, Toilet, Wheelchair accessible, Wi-Fi, Word processing and an Xbox.

Activities for children at Zillmere Library

There are many activities, workshops and performances at Indooroopilly Library, especially over the school holidays.  Some of these activities may require booking, so please check the details. The regular activities include;

  • First 5 Forever Toddler Time; meet other parents and toddlers for a fun session of singing, clapping and dancing. Learn action rhymes and songs which will help your child’s pre-literacy, communication, language and social skills. Ideal for babies and toddlers aged 1-3 years. The First 5 Forever initiative is funded by the Queensland Government. No bookings are required.

  • Babies, Books and Rhymes; meet other parents and babies for a fun session of singing, clapping and dancing. Learn songs and action rhymes to nurture your baby’s pre-literacy, communication, language and social skills. Ideal for babies and toddlers aged up to two years. This is a free activity and there are no bookings required.

  • Children’s Storytime; experience the magic of storytime with your child at the library. This interactive session includes stories, songs and creative early literacy experiences for children. Ideal for children aged 2-5 years.  This is a free event and no bookings are required.

  • There are also a number of workshops and information sessions for adults on a range of topics. Some may require bookings.

Monday and Sunday: closed
Tuesday and Thursday: 10am-6pm
Wednesday: 12 noon-5pm
Friday: 10am-5pm
