Newmarket Pool is a great family swimming venue and the perfect place to chase away the winter blues, with three heated pools, both indoor and outdoor, multiple water-play areas, slides, a playground and all you need to keep the kids entertained on a family day out.

As the name suggests, Newmarket Pool has an Olympic sized 50m outdoor pool that is HEATED! There’s also a covered and heated outdoor 25m pool and an indoor heated programs pool. Children will love the animal-themed splash pad with water-drop buckets and fountains, the twisty slides and giant slides, and the wading pool with mushroom features. If you want to make a day of it there are barbecues and picnic tables on site next to the playground and lawn area, a snack kiosk, and merry-go-round, or you could even indulge in some quiet relaxation on your own when you drop your children at the air-conditioned crèche!

Winter opening hours for the heated 50m pool are Monday-Friday 8am to 6pm, and Saturday from 8am to 1pm. The 25m pool is open Monday to Friday from 8am to 3pm only. Both pools are closed public holidays. Check the website for summer opening hours.

Is it accessible?

Yes, Newmarket Pool has special facilities for the disabled and honours the Queensland Government Companion Card, allowing free entry for anyone accompanying a person with disability who requires attendant care support.

Prices:

Adult entry (aged 15+) is $5.50 for both swimmers and spectators; Children aged 2-14 years, $4.00, and children under two years old get in free.

Discounted family passes and multi-visit passes are available. Entry to the large waterslide is $2, via wristband.

Entry Conditions:

Children aged 10 years or younger must be accompanied by a responsible supervising adult at all times.
