Ipswich Christmas Lights Bus Tours 2020
Update for 2020: Due to COVID-19 restrictions the Ipswich Christmas Lights Bus Tours will not be going ahead in 2020. Instead we recommend creating your own tour using our detailed Ipswich Christmas lights maps here.
One of the real treats at Christmas time is seeing all the wonderful Christmas lights displays on houses all over the city. If you’re in and around Ipswich City, you can see the best displays on a bus tour. We’ve gathered all the information you need to know about the Ipswich Christmas Lights Bus Tours for 2019.
Why go on a Christmas lights bus tour?
The displays are dazzling. There’s so much to see and take in, and there’s a kind of magic to viewing Christmas lights. But if you have to drive from one to the next, avoiding other cars and pedestrians, finding car parks and figuring out the directions, it dulls the sparkle a little.
The Christmas Lights Bus Tours remove those hassles, letting you be comfortably chauffeured from one magic display to the next in the comfort of an air-conditioned coach. And you get to share in the delight with others. Is there anything quite like the collective “wow” when a group of people see something amazing for the first time?
When and where do the tours operate?
The Ipswich Xmas Lights Tours run for about 2 ½ – 3 hours. The bus leaves at 6pm from the Ipswich City Council car park, 45 Roderick Street, Ipswich. Passengers are asked to be there by 5.45pm to make sure the tour leaves on time.
