Versace, darlink. This is the ultimate high tea experience for Gold Coast kids. They have a menu featuring dessert-based staples as well as to-die-for savoury stuff. The view is incredible and the setting divine. It’s designed for children aged 4 to 12 years old and, at a surprisingly low $30 a head, it’s not to be missed. Strike a pose! High tea for adults also available.

Tea and Niceties, Mount Tamborine

Children aged 2 to 12 years are encouraged to take part in a high tea experience at Tea and Niceties – one of Mount Tamborine’s most highly rated establishments. They’ll be served a platter that will mirror the same menu the adults receive for a reduced price – only $25 per child! The delicious sweet items at Tea and Niceties are absolutely to die for! (If they’d like to cater my next party I would be more than interested, hint hint!)

The Village Heritage B&B

Teeny Tiny Tea at Chapter & Verse

Inspired by the beauty and charm of the resorts signature high-tea, the teeny tiny tea is crafted with a variety of both sweet and savoury dishes with kids flavours in mind. The Teeny Tiny Tea is available for children up to 17 years at $39 per person, and is served with a special sparkling mocktail, hot chocolate or babycino.

Four Winds 360 Revolving Restaurant – NO LONGER DOING HIGH TEAS

Located in the heart of the Gold Coast, Four Winds 360° Revolving Restaurant is the Sunshine State’s only revolving restaurant. Situated on the rooftop of Crowne Plaza Surfers Paradise, the eatery is a treat for hotel guests, tourists and locals alike. Patrons can feast their eyes on views of the cityscape, ocean and hinterland as they complete rotations while enjoying high tea in the sky.

CHA Tea Providores, Surfers Paradise – PERMANENTLY CLOSED

Although not serving a specific high tea menu for children, we’ve included this one because it offers a fresh take on the traditional high tea experience. This Gold Coast choice is kid and child friendly with private seating sections available for larger groups. Gluten free and vegetarian options abound. This might be a great option to take that slightly older child who is looking for a real ‘grown up’ experience.
