Everything you need to know about the Gold Coast Show 2024!
The Gold Coast Show is a three-day family fun extravaganza, sure to bring lots of fun and laughter to the whole family. The Showgrounds are filled with the best of the best in food, rides and entertainment as well as daily showcases of incredible local talent.

9am – 9pm, from Friday 30 August until Sunday 1 September 2024. Entry is free!
What’s on?
Showbags
The Gold Coast Show has hundreds of showbags to choose from! Kids will be thrilled by the showbag pavilion with a wide range of pricing to suit all budgets. Some of this year’s most popular choices include Harry Potter, Gudetama and Barbie as well as the old favourites!
Animals
The animal nursery is an exhibition tradition, giving city kids the chance to feed and pat adorable calves, lambs and piglets! Memories of feeding greedy pigs and having clothing chewed by cheeky baby goats will be cherished for a lifetime! In 2024, you can enjoy a ride on a camel too.
Little animal lovers will love watching the classic dog competition – will your favourite breed be top dog?
Rides
Your little adventurer will love the exciting selection of rides at this year’s Gold Coast Show including all the classic rides such as the Ferris wheel, dodgem cars, sea circus and a giant slide. Plus, you will be able to experience the biggest show ride in the Southern Hemisphere dubbed “The Beast” swinging 45 metres in the air! Your family will enjoy:
- Super high racing slides (The ones you use a sack on)
- Chair-O-Plane
- Jumping Castle
- Twister
- Mini Pirate shop
- And lots more!
Try your hand at the sideshow games such as the clowns or water pistols for the chance to win a huge keepsake teddy. Your kids will be bragging to their friends about it for weeks!

Fireworks 2024
Prepare to be blown away by spectacular fireworks illuminating the sky above Broadwater Parklands. Fireworks will be held on both the Friday and Saturday night at 6:45pm.
