Gold Coast Show | A three day PARTY for Gold Coast families!
The Gold Coast Show is a three day family fun extravaganza, sure to bring lots of fun and laughter to the whole family. The Showgrounds are filled with the best of the best in food, rides and entertainment as well as daily showcases of incredible local talent.
The Gold Coast Show was cancelled in 2021 but this year the show is set to be the biggest event in its 114-year history.
When is the Gold Coast Show?
9am – 9pm, from Friday 27 August until Saturday 29 August 2021.
What’s on at The Gold Coast Show?
Showbags
The Gold Coast Show has over 200 showbags to choose from! Kids will be thrilled by the showbag pavilion with prices ranging from $8-$35 and more than 150,000 bags expected to be sold over the 3 days of the show. Some of this year’s most popular choices include Frozen II, The Wiggles, Bluey, as well as the old favourite, the Bertie Beetle bag.
Animals
The animal nursery is an exhibition tradition, giving city kids the chance to feed and pat adorable calves, lambs and piglets! Memories of feeding greedy pigs and having clothing chewed by cheeky baby goats will be cherished for a lifetime! In 2021, you can also head out for a camel ride on the beach.
Little animal lovers will love watching the classic dog competition – will your favourite breed be top dog?
Rides
Your little adventurer will love the exciting selection of over 35 rides at this years Gold Coast Show including all the classic rides such as the ferris wheel, dodgem cars, sea circus and a giant slide. Plus, you will be able to experience the biggest show ride in the Southern Hemisphere dubbed “The Beast” swinging 45 metres in the air! We all spotted:
- Super high racing slides (The one’s you use a sack on)
- Chair-O-Plane
- Jumping Castle
- Twister
Try your hand at the sideshow games such as the clowns or water pistols for the chance to win a huge keepsake teddy. Your kids will be bragging to their friends about it for weeks!
Teddy Bear’s Picnic
Humphrey B Bear will be making an appearance to host the Teddy Bear’s Picnic. Be sure to register for your FREE picnic spot. The Teddy Bear’s Picnic will be held on Sunday, 29 August from 10:30am.
Fireworks
Prepare to be blown away by spectacular fireworks illuminating the sky above Broadwater Parklands. Fireworks will be held on both Friday and Saturday night from 6:45pm.
