The Greek Club – Breakfast Review

See why The Greek Club in Brisbane’s West End is Family Friendly!

Our family decided to attend The Greek Club at 29 Edmonstone Street, West End for breakfast after we had heard about the great meals from a friend. We arrived at 8am and were seated promptly, on the spacious patio that overlooks Musgrave Park.

It was quiet and picturesque, and the waiter promptly delivered colouring in packs for each of our children.

We ordered pancakes for all the children (from the children’s menu), eggs benedict for the adults (one with salmon and one with bacon) and a Greek omelette called a Froutalia.

Our waiter was Italian (the Greek club’s as multicultural as the rest of Australia) and he had a friendly demeanor. The adults enjoyed a delicious coffee (two hot and one iced) while the kids worked their way through the colouring in packs and sipped on freshly squeezed apple or orange juice.

Breakfast arrived quickly, with the children receiving their pancakes first. These looked amazing. Each child had one fluffy pancake which covered the entire plate and came with strawberries, maple syrup, icing sugar and cinnamon on top. The kids loved these, and Master 5 declared that after he was finished he was going to lick his plate (he did).

If your kids love strawberries as much as mine, check out these places to pick your own!

The parents’ meals arrived very quickly after the children’s meals and these looked exquisite. The look of the meals was only surpassed by the taste – fresh, clean, incredibly tasty food that we devoured. The Greek Club offers generous serving sizes and all adults finished their plates and felt happily content.

We spent about one hour at the Greek Club and enjoyed every second. The kids were happy, loved their colouring in, devoured their pancakes and enjoyed the good humour of our waiter. The parents loved that the kids were so happy, ate delicious food, drank divine coffee and enjoyed the beautiful view of the gorgeous trees surrounding Musgrave Park. The Greek Club is a wonderful venue for families to enjoy a great breakfast (and not only breakfast, they also do lunch and dinner).
