AQUADUCK Gold Coast | An Amazing Experience for Kids!

AQUADUCK Gold Coast is definitely one of our favourite kid-friendly things to do where they’re ACTIVELY involved. What’s not to love!

AQUADUCK Gold Coast – What you need to know

Here’s everything you need to know to help you plan an awesome day out with the whole family.

Where?

You’ll find Aquaduck Gold Coast at 36 Cavill Ave, Surfers Paradise. Give them a ring on 5539 0222. Aquaduck tours depart six times per day (10am, 11:15am, 12:30pm, 1:45pm, 3:00pm, 4:15pm, 5:30pm).

What?

Aquaduck Gold Coast is an hour long tour that runs every day of the year (except Christmas Day). It starts in the heart of Surfers Paradise and is a brilliant way to tour the area. It’s an amphibious vehicle – meaning it can go on both land AND water! Cool!

There are three Aquaduck vehicles and each can carry 30 passengers. It’s a guided tour so you’ll have a helpful tour guide pointing out all the awesome sites – great for tourists and locals alike!

Aquaduck Gold Coast tours are kid friendly – kids have the opportunity to drive the vehicle themselves (under strict supervision, of course) and they’ll even get a fancy certificate to prove it!

Cost?

There are rates for both children and seniors, as well as family rates (two adults and two kids).

  • 3 years and under (if the child remains sitting on your lap) is FREE!
  • Kids (4-16) years old are $30.
  • Adults are $38.
  • Seniors are $34.

Family passes are $120 (a saving of $16).

If you want to grab a discount, we used the Klook website – here (highly recommended) to pay less for the Aquaduck adventure with your family!

What’s cool about the Aquaduck?

These bad boys are ex-service vehicles. They were developed in America in the 1950’s for involvement in unique combat environments. It’s pretty darn cool that they’ve been repurposed and now serve to bring delight and joy to people every day!

Is a ride on the AQUADUCK Gold Coast fleet family friendly?

We love Aquaduck. It’s really interesting, super fun and the length of the tour means it’s just right for little attention spans. The fact that kids can get involved and drive the vehicle really puts a unique spin on the experience.
