Victoria Park Pump Track

Brisbane City Council is continuing to transform Victoria Park with the completion of the Urban Pump Track. This bike track is the newest destination for Brisbane families, which makes the most of the park’s natural topography.

Where is the pump track?

The urban pump track will be located in the north-west corner of the park in Herston, off Herston Road. 

Address: 201 Herston Road, Kelvin Grove.

What’s there?

Perfect for beginner to intermediate riders, the track will offer a riding experience for all ages to practice and expand on their riding skills.

Facilities include:

  • construction of junior riding track
  • additional small multi-use space with skateable elements
  • new amenities block
  • picnic shelter and seating
  • bike racks
  • new entry/exit driveway with a 16-space car park
  • connecting footpaths
  • lighting
  • turfing, landscaping and tree planting.

Family fun day

  • Bring your bikes and celebrate the Urban Pump Track launch with a free, fun-filled event the whole family will enjoy.

The launch will feature BMX and rollerblading demonstrations, live music, kids activities and food trucks. Plus, don’t miss a very special appearance from Olympic gold medallist, BMX champion Saya Sakakibara!

Location: Victoria Park’s new Urban Pump Track, entry via 201 Herston Road, Kelvin Grove. Parking is available for $5 at QUT, via Sports Lane, Kelvin Grove.
