Now, I don’t know about you, but in our family the promise of getting dressed up in a costume and eating copious amounts of candy is just far too appealing to ignore, so for like-minded families we’ve thrown together a comprehensive list of the best kid-friendly Halloween events on and around the Gold Coast.

Hocus Pocus at the Yatala Drive-In | Yatala
Pack the car full of treats and take the family to see this cult classic Halloween movie! The Yatala Drive-In is Brisbane & the Gold Coast’s last original open-air Drive-In Motion Picture Theatre, with 3 massive screens. Hocus Pocus sees three witch sisters resurrected in Salem, Massachusetts on Halloween night, and it is up to two teenagers, a young girl, and an immortal cat to put an end to their reign of terror once and for all. This year there will be three spooktacular nights of Halloween frightful fun at Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary! From 4:30pm your little monsters can ride the Ghost Train, hang out with the creepy wildlife after dark, enjoy spooky shows, trick or treat showbags and prizes for the best Halloween costumes at the Monster Mash kids precinct. There will be lots of tasty goods and refreshing drinks to sink your fangs into.
