If you would like to purchase ahead of time, they are asking customers to send a text through to 0433006500 for order delivery or pick up as they might be unable to answer the phone sometime in this busy period.

Homefresh Organics

Homefresh Organics offer mixed fruit and veg boxes and custom boxes delivered to your door.

They also deliver:

  • butcher items

Food Connect

Food Connect, located in Salisbury, where you can browse through their online shop and choose what you like. Make sure you take a good look at every section, they’ve also got a range of yoghurts, freshly baked bread and dried goods. If you’re not sure whether something is available or not, give them a call or send an email. When placing an order you will be asked whether you want home delivery or free pick up from a City Cousin near you, before heading to the checkout. All orders have a minimum spend of $25.

Remember! Orders must be placed by midnight on Sundays for same week delivery.

Order freshly picked organic produce grown by locals you love and family farms you believe in. They are in the business of better and are dedicated to improving your home and this community. They source through a wholesaler who sources from Aussie farmers and deliver on Mon, Weds, Thurs, Friday to Brisbane the Gold Coast and the Tweed. Delivery is free for orders over $130. If you leave your delivery box out the next week, they will reuse it again and again!

Offering delivery or pick up, these guys are based in Kingscliff. (So, I am thinking delivery if you choose them, right!?) They offer fruit and veg boxes, home delivered as well as home cooked meals!

Suncoast Fresh

Suncoast Fresh is an owner-operated business with a core of many years of experience with friendly staff who pride themselves on being produce professionals in every sense. They, truly value the link between farm and table – it’s what they truly live and breathe.

Delivering to Brisbane, Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast, Toowoomba and Byron Bay, Suncoast Fresh has switched their business model from supplying commercial kitchens to delivering to local homes.  They also offer click and collect in Brisbane from 2/35 Steel Place Morningside (Fino Foods Car Park).

  • All orders close for delivery at midnight two days before the delivery date.

Aussie Farmers Direct CLOSED

After 13 years of fighting the supermarket duopoly, Aussie Farmers Direct went into voluntary administration. They have announced that local grocery business YourGrocer will carry on the Aussie Farmers mission, but only in Melbourne at the moment… watch this space for their expansion.

  2. Does anyone know if there are any business delivering food to the Islands? Woolies are but seems to be not may spots on the truck n i miss out… Eg: Russell Island. As the local IGA have their head stuck in the sand. They are acting on this issue like snails…. to slow every other food business is moving with these crazy times. There are adult children knocking on cars goes to the island and asking strangers can they drop this food to their parents as their parents are in self isolation and iga on russell island dont delievey and don’t have times for high risk people… please help….

  3. Do we still have the old fashioned truck fruito that drives around suburbs for the community to purchase essentials ? I come from Newcastle where we had a fruito every Wednesday. I could put a bucket out with the list of what I needed, he would fill my order and leave me an invoice which I then paid online.
