There is a certain something special about walking around Christmas Markets in the lead up to Christmas. Even without a lot of cash to splash the ambiance of the event, the spirit of the people and (more often than not) the scent of Christmas in the air is enough to put you and your kids in a fantastic mood for the rest of the day or night.

Tamborine Mammoth Country Market | Tamborine | 2024

Gold Coast Potters Association Christmas Craft Market | Benowa | 2024
Head to the Benowa studio to enjoy a wonderful array of hand crafted goodness — ceramics, jewellery, and art — as well as delicious food stalls and pottery throwing demonstrations. It is the perfect opportunity to buy unique handmade Christmas gifts.

Christmas at Frascott Market | Varsity Lakes | 2024
What a wonderful way to celebrate the festive reason. Warm up your voices so that you can join in the Christmas carols. The children can enjoy a Santa Express train ride or play in the Snow Zone. There will also be market stalls, food trucks, a visit from Santa and the night will finish with a live laser show.

Surfers Paradise Christmas Twilight Market | Surfers Paradise | 2024
Sleigh what? Santa’s coming to Surfers Paradise! Get ready for a Holly Jolly Beach Bash at the Surfers Paradise Beachfront Market! On 14 December, we’re turning up the Claus-ometer and spreading cheer far and near at Surfers Paradise!
Jingle all the way down to the esplanade for a tree-mendous night of live music and roving entertainment for the whole family. Stroll through hundreds of bespoke makers and artisan stalls, offering up every item on your Chrisst wishlist. Rumour has it, Santa’s ditching his reindeer to make a grand entrance on a specially-wrapped surfboard that he’ll park right in the middle of the Surfers Paradise Christmas Twilight Market!

Wind your way through the Market lanes to the sweet serenades of stunning live music, spot roving performers, snap a selfie with an elfie… or meet the big man himself – SANTA will be visiting to add Christmas magic to the market.

Palm Beach Farmers’ Market | Palm Beach | 2024
Head along this year on Saturdays 25th Nov, 2nd Dec, 9th Dec, 16th Dec and 23rd Dec to stock up ahead of the holiday festivities with this special seasonal edition of Palm Beach Farmers’ Market. All your favourite stallholders will be there, as well as special guest, Santa Claus! You’ll find Santa strolling through the market from 6am – 11.30am. Pick up the last-minute bits on your list and you will be inspired into the Christmas spirit just in time for your Santa duties!
