Bay Play | Indoor Playcentre Cleveland | Review

***Bay Play Indoor Play Centre closed permanently in December 2020***

Where is Bay Play?

Bay Play is an Australiana themed indoor play centre with a difference. Located in Cleveland and easily accessible with plenty of parking onsite, Bay Play is open 7 days a week from 9am – 5pm.

How much does Bay Play Cost?

Admission is free for 12months and under, $9.50 for children and adults just $3.50 with a complementary Tea Coffee or Water. Bay Play has a school day special where entry after 3:30pm is just $5 per child. Socks are available for purchase for $2.50 and Lockers for hire for $5.

Food and Drink Options:

We loved the food options here. No need to battle the kids to make healthy well balanced choices as that is all that is available. And not bland boring food, inspired and fun food that the kids love. Clearly using the freshest ingredients I was happy to spend the money on nutritious meals for my kids. If only you could get them to sit still for long enough to eat it not inhale it…. Bay Play offers an abundance of indoor activities catering to every age group.

Activities and Equipment:

BAY PLAY CLEVELAND_Jumping Castle

For the under 4’s there is the Barrier Reef Toddlers Area. This is the perfect spot for toddlers to test their own limits in a safe and clean environment. Not only does this area contain a mini climbing Gym with slide, but also a mini jumping castle keeping even the most energetic toddlers entertained for hours.

For the bigger kids there is The Daintree/ Main Play Gym this has everything you would expect from a indoor play centre plus more. Not only does it have 3 levels, 3 slides and a ball pit but also ball canons and drops. The equipment is in fantastic condition, safety was clearly paramount in the design of this gym.

In addition to the indoor play gyms they also have Vuly Trampolines, Interactive Fitness Machines and Robot Wars. And just when you think they haven’t quite tired themselves out enough there is The Mt Kosciusko Climb Wall. This challenging climb wall caters to all skill levels. With a soft foam pit below to catch their fall and a victory bell at the top to challenge them to go higher this by far is my favourite part. Watching the sense of achievement and confidence on the face of my overly cautious son as he scaled the walls, will stay with me forever.

This is not just a standard indoor play gym to tire out energetic kids… it’s a safe place where they can extend themselves beyond what they thought they could achieve. A place where you can be comfortable knowing that you are in a safe and clean environment. This is a family owned and operated business that has soul. Never before has a slogan better reflected a business… Play Safe, Eat Well, Laugh Loud. And that is exactly what we did!

We give Bay Play Cleveland 4.5 stars!
