Not your usual holiday cabins!
Freshly renovated the cabins have all the mod-cons. It was a real treat to have good coffee on hand. Perfect for sitting out on our balcony and watching the kids play on the shore of the pristine creek.
It really makes for a great unplugged family holiday when the location is so naturally fun. The kids were hardly inside!
All year round Mooball creek tempts visitors (and locals … like your Pelican friends pictured here) to dip in a toe. the water is crystal clear and calm. Perfect for floating your worries away!
Exploring the neighbourhood
Tweed Coast Holiday Park Pottsville South’s cabins are fully equipped for cooking, as are the fabulous creekside, covered BBQ areas. However if you feel like outsourcing, you are just a short stroll into town.
Pottsville has some great places to eat. Emily and her family tried a bunch of them out when they stayed at Pottsville North Holiday Park. You can read about them HERE.
For our culinary adventure we hopped into the car and travelled a little further north on Tweed Coast road through the beautiful towns of Hastings Point and Cabarita, right through to Salt Village to try the renowned seafood on offer at Salt Village Fish and Chips.
Let me assure you … it is worth the drive. Delicious fresh seafood, incredible salads and chips to die for! You can dine in or head across the road to the playground to eat on the lush green grass.
The service is so friendly, and the food so great, you really need to pop a stop-in on your bucket list.
Climbing fun at Ambrose Brown Park
Right next door to Tweed Coast Holiday Park Pottsville South you’ll find a super-fun playground. With tonnes of shade, BBQS, Shelter and toilet facilities it is a lovely place to spend s a few hours as the kids climb on the creative and fun equipment.
There is also an easy access track through to the creek if you fancy dipping your toes in, in between climbs!
