Rainforests Gold Coasts with kids

It’s important to remember a few key pieces of information when visiting natural landscapes with kids.

  • Leave the area as you found it. This means not only taking any rubbish out with you but also asking your children to avoid damaging any plants or interfering with any animals or their habitats.
  • Sun safety is key.
  • Take appropriate supplies with you. This might be healthy snacks, water, spare clothes and socks and the ability to communicate with the outside world.
  • Ensure that if you’re taking your car you park and drive where you’re supposed to and that you only go 4WD’ing if it’s appropriately signed and permitted.
