Croc’s Playcentre Underwood | Indoor Fun For Kids on Brisbane’s Southside!

Southside families, get excited! Croc’s Playcentre Underwood has recently opened, providing a vibrant new indoor playcentre in Logan for families on Brisbane’s Southside.

Croc’s Playcentre Underwood

The play setup at Croc’s Playcentre Underwood is designed to meet the needs of babies through to school-aged children. The great news is it’s not just the young one’s who are catered for at Croc’s Playcentre Underwood! For us big kids, there’s a Muffin Break Cafe onsite with muffins baked fresh each day, air-conditioning, and HUGE restorative cups of coffee for tired caregivers.

Another big plus is the staff who clearly love what they do! They interact with the kids and are eager to make every visit extra special. Read on for our full review of Croc’s Playcentre Underwood.

Multi-storey play gym

Croc's PlayCentre Underwood PlayGym Multi

This isn’t your usual multi-storey play gym. Within it’s depths, kids will find a trampoline, ball pit, plus all of the usual obstacles that we love them to burn excess energy on! It’s a well-built structure, so families of little ones can offer support when needed. Our kids ran laps across the different levels always ending with shouts of delight as they sped down the super fast racing slides. We can happily report our kids slept on the way home after so much exercise affording us some much needed quiet time.

Underwater themed jumping pillow

Croc's PlayCentre Underwood Jumping Castle

Located beside the multi-storey play gym is the jumping pillow with obstacles, two fun climbing ladders, and another great slide. The slide on the jumping pillow is a good size for the younger kids to build their confidence before tackling the racing slides.

Rides, rides, rides!

If you’ve got a child who loves trains or pirates, you’re going to be spending a lot of time at Croc’s Underwood. Rather than drag your little kids around the local show, you can simply pop into Croc’s indoor playcentre for a train ride on REAL tracks – rain, hail, or shine! The kids get to steer their own miniature engine as it makes its way around the circular track. The pirate ship is also perfect for younger kids experiencing their first ride as it rocks back and forth at a soothing pace. The rides are $3 each per turn.

Magical castle toddler area

The toddler area is separate from the multi-storey play area and is designed for four years and under. This area features small slippery slides, mini ball pit, foam climbing obstacles, and a castle shaped climbing structure. Our two year old was very happy exploring this quieter space without the big kids racing around.

Baby soft play area

Croc's PlayCentre Underwood Play Baby

Families with babes, you’ll be happy to know there is a dedicated, fully-fenced baby play section lined with soft play materials and sensory activities to encourage play. The best part is it’s located really close to the onsite Muffin Break Cafe, so you can grab a fresh muffin, and a HUGE coffee to help you recover from a big night without sleep.

Muffin Break cafe

Yes, there is a REAL Muffin Break located within Croc’s Playcentre Underwood! We highly recommend letting the kids burn off some energy while you enjoy a coffee and a bite to eat. Early each day the Muffin Break bakers prepare their famous muffins plus other tasty treats onsite. You know what that means?! Warm, fresh muffins! Yum! Plus, they offer a breakfast range.

For lunch you can enjoy wraps, sandwiches, pies and pasties, tartlets, savoury slices and salads. Gluten-free, dairy-free, low-fat, and lower carb options available. For something sweet, get ready to bliss out on carrot cake, loaves, scones, and more. The kids Snappy Meals were a big hit with our kids in addition to the jelly with a Freddo.

It’s important to know that no outside food or drinks are allowed, with the exception of baby food and children’s drink bottles. For families with special dietary requirements, rest assured your needs can be catered for by talking with Croc’s Playcentre Underwood staff.

Birthday parties

Croc’s Playcentre Underwood has three themed party rooms for kids, including exclusive interactive party options. Party room themes include underwater, princess, and pirates. Our kids were angling to have their 5th birthday parties at Croc’s Playcentre Underwood during our visit. Sounds like a great idea to us! All parties come with a dedicated party host, kids activities, a selection of delicious food, unlimited play, and of course, you get to leave the cleaning up to Croc’s! Win, win!
