Cobb and Co Museum is a delightful day out for all ages – big and small! With so much to do, make sure you allocate a few hours so that you can discover all the wonders within Cobb and Co.

As part of the Queensland Museum Network and home to the National Carriage Collection, you will discover a variety of interactive displays, exhibitions and vintage trade workshops.

Family-friendly facilities

Upon arrival to the Museum, you will find towering windmills that greet you and unicycles parked at the entrance.  From the very beginning, you feel as though you’re being whisked away on a magical adventure.

You will find ‘Cobb’s Coffee Shop,’ where you can treat yourself to a delicious lunch, coffee, morning or afternoon tea.  There’s a wide-range of handmade goodies on offer, including their famous freshly baked scones and muffins. The children are also well catered for with a special ‘Little Cobbers’ Menu.

There’s also a Gift & Souvenirs shop where you can purchase the perfect gift or memento of your special day.  The shop showcases unique, locally produced and hand-made items including books, homewares, jewelry, educational science toys and collectibles.

You will find within Cobb and Co Museum an ‘Energy for Life’ Discovery Centre. Here you will discover significant energy themes in a way that is fun and challenging and makes you think about how you use energy in your own life! It is a child friendly area that is hands on and really bolsters their imagination. With everything from blocks to play with, cobbs to turn, bikes to ride and illuminating electric cylinders – it’s certainly educational and great fun for all ages!

Little Cobbers Program

‘Little Cobbers’ is a program hosted by the Museum that is designed for children under six with themed activities and encourages fun and discovery.  This is a really popular activity for locals and you will see why! Children will learn about the object in the box, hear a related story and join in craft activities. Little Cobbers is held every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday (during school term) at 9.15am.

There is no need to book, just register at the Museum front desk on arrival.  A gold coin donation applies!

Entry is FREE* for residents of the Toowoomba Regional Council area with proof of address. *Excludes special events.

If you are looking for something else to do close-by, why not let the kids get some fresh air and have a play at Queen’s Park before making your way back home. Queen’s Park is also located on Lindsay St.
