Carols in the Country

Get into the holiday spirit with friends and family and sing along to beloved Christmas tunes, enjoy some yummy food, browse the markets, enjoy the entertainment and take a spin on some of our fabulous rides. Bring your own blanket or chairs, grab some food and drinks, and enjoy the magical atmosphere. It’s the perfect way to kick off the holiday season surrounded by community and good cheer. Don’t miss out on this heartwarming event! Fireworks are at 8pm.

This December, A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens adapted by Suncoast Church returns to the Sunshine Coast. Back by popular demand with sold-out shows in 2023, the heartwarming Christmas classic is filled with holiday cheer and live Christmas carols. Recommended for ages 8 and up. This is a free event.

Friday 6 December

Sundale Community Christmas Carols

Sundale’s Community Christmas Carols are back! Join Sundale for a festive evening filled with fun and music for the whole family. Get ready to sing and dance along to your favourite Christmas carols and enjoy performances by Nambour’s local talent. The kids will enjoy free rides, games, animals, face painting and balloon artists plus cheap food options, making this a great night out. Santa will also make an appearance at 5.30pm and provide the kids with a gift. Don’t forget to bring a blanket or chair to sit on and your Christmas spirit.

Please book so they don’t run out of food and Santa gifts on the night.

Buderim Community Carols

Kids, parents, grandparents! If you enjoy Sunshine Coast Christmas Carols you are invited to this much-loved, heart-warming, Buderim Christmas event. From Jingle Bells to Hark the Herald Angels, enjoy a good old fashioned singalong with the community. The Buderim Community Carols always feature great local talent in an entertaining Christmas presentation that includes traditional carols and of course, there will be a visit from the big bearded guy in a red suit for the kids! Gold coin donation on entry.

Friday 13 December

Christmas in Cooroy

Christmas In Cooroy is coming back to bring joy to the community on Friday 13 December, 2024. This year promises to be bigger and better than ever with a host of exciting attractions, including our animal farm, climbing wall, boxing ring and many more interactive activities for all ages!

Of course, the big man himself will be making an appearance giving the kids (big and small) the opportunity to let Santa know what you would like for Christmas (but you have to promise to be good). The photo booth will be on hand to capture the special moment, and there will be plenty of carols to enjoy. One of the biggest highlights of the night is the return of the Float Parade, back by popular demand after several years! This year’s theme is “Festive Flicks”, so expect floats inspired by your favourite holiday movies, bringing the magic of Christmas to life.

Food stalls and shopping will be aplenty with many of the stores staying open throughout the evening.

Noosa Chorale presents Christmas Chorale – with traditional much-loved carols that everyone knows and loves, but with lesser-known beautiful pieces from different countries and eras.

There will be a delightful mix of sweet, slow and dreamy melodies to move your heart, mixed with vigorous and stimulating pieces to get your pulses racing. All tickets are $48.

The Carol Cruise

The Noosa community is set to celebrate the festive season with joy as Reed & Co. Estate Agents proudly present their annual Carol Cruise on Saturday 14 December. This event promises an unforgettable evening for locals and visitors alike, teaming up once again with the iconic Noosa Ferry, Oriana Choir, AV Partners & Sunshine Coast Youth Choir.

Get your boat ready to follow the Noosa Ferry, M.V. Miss Tewantin, along the Noosa River, or set up with your family and friends at one of the four stops along the riverbank and celebrate the festive season together!

Tewantin Christmas Carnival

Come along to enjoy this fabulous community event, including a giant slide, animal petting farm, pony rides and tea cup rides plus live entertainment ending with carols by candlelight.

Kawana Carols by the Beach

Kawana Carols by the Beach is a place for the whole family to celebrate the festive season.

There will be singing, dancing, food trucks, face painting and even a visit from Santa Clause himself (for those of you on his nice list!)

Wednesday 18 December

Peregian Beach Carols

The Peregian Beach Carols is the longest-running Carols event on the Coast. Enjoy live music and carols from local bands, soloists and duos, food and artisan stalls, entertainment for the kids including face painting, a special visit from Santa on the beach, and an amazing special surprise to conclude the evening at 8pm.

To support this amazing community event, they request a $15 per family contribution to the event, which covers all your entertainment including music and the main attraction – Santa!
