Harness up for Rock Climbing in Burleigh!

Paramount Adventures offers both indoor and outdoor climbing experiences for families. Open 7 days a week bookings aren’t needed (unless you’re in a big group or you have different levels of ability you’d like to discuss beforehand.

The indoor rock climbing gym covers 850sqm of space with a range of climbs suitable for beginner to expert. This is a great place to test limits and take risks in a safe, supervised environment.

This great Burleigh rock climbing venue allows anyone over the age of 5 to climb with prices starting at $8 per patron. You can hire any necessary equipment as you go. There are a variety of short-term courses that you can take here if you decide that climbing is for you – they even have fitness classes and junior climbing clubs. Paramount Adventures rock climbing in Burleigh also offer birthday party packages.

Paramount Adventures in Burleigh take safety very seriously – there are indemnities to sign, belay and support restrictions and guidelines and harnesses must be worn at all times.

For adventurous Brisbane and Gold Coast families looking for a rock climbing challenge, Paramount Adventures also run outdoor climbs and abseiling at Point Danger on the last Sunday of every month. Details can be found here.

The Rock Face

Just outside of Burleigh at the Tallebudgera Leisure Centre you’ll find ROCK FACE – a rock climbing structure open to the public on behalf of the Gold Coast Recreation Centre. Here you’ll find 10 climbs from beginner to expert. You don’t need a partner to climb here – there is an automatic belay system. Cool!

The Rock Face is open on Saturdays with extended hours over the school holiday periods. Anyone over five is allowed to climb, you don’t need to book and there’s parking onsite. You must wear shoes and kids need to be supervised.
