Langlands Park Memorial Pool is a great family-friendly environment and a wonderful place to learn to swim, or to simply relax and keep warm this winter in the heated pools.
Where to find it:
5 Panitya Street, Greenslopes.
What’s there?
Langlands has a heated and partially shaded 50m outdoor pool, undercover heated 10m programs pool, partially shaded wading pool, café, and giant inflatables for fun days and school holidays. While you relax in the coffee shop and gardens, see if you can get the kids to spot Elsa, the resident blue Quakker bird. She loves to hang around in the trees and might even fly down to sit on your shoulder!
There’s a great kids play area for the little ones. It’s well-shaded and provides an opportunity for little legs to get some stretching.
Great! When is it open?
Winter opening hours are: Monday to Thursday from 5am to 7pm, Friday from 5am to 6pm, Saturday from 5am to 1pm, and Sunday from 8am to 12pm. Closed all public holidays except Easter Saturday when it’s open from 9am to 5pm.
Jindalee Pool has differing hours for the summer and winter seasons so please check the website before heading out.
