The Brisbane Airshow

UPDATE: The Brisbane Airshow has been postponed to 9-10 July 2022 due to the wet weather.

The Brisbane Airshow has one of the worlds most stunning backdrops, the Brisbane Valley, just 60 minutes drive from Brisbane. 

This event held from Sat 9 – Sun 10 July 2022, is dedicated to the men and women who have served in our armed forces.

The show includes Airforce, Warbirds, World War II fighters, jets, helicopters, aerobatics, skydiving, military vehicles, hot rods, classic cars, aviation expo, live music, gourmet food, amusement rides, Pyro Technics, MotoX and lots more. See the Flying Programme here.


Gates open 8am to 9pm on Saturday and 8am to 5pm on Sunday.

  • 11:30 am – 4:30 pm Saturday 9 July 2022
  • 10:30 am – 3:30 pm Sunday 10 July 2022


You can pre-purchase general admission tickets online or at the gate on the day. VIP experience tickets also available.

The Brisbane AIrshow, is located at Watts Bridge Memorial Airfield, which is on the Brisbane River, at the base of Mount Brisbane, in the Brisbane Valley, in South East Queensland Australia. Its approximately 7km from the country town of Esk, an easy 1 to 1½ hours drive from the state’s capital city Brisbane.

To the south of the airfield is the particularly scenic Brisbane Valley area featuring open rolling pastures and cleared farming country bordering the Wivenhoe Dam.

To the north and west is the Great Dividing Range – gateway to the Darling Downs and beyond. A short flight to the east passes the grand Glass House Mountains en route to the most picturesque bay and beach scenery imaginable.

Car Parking

There will be general admission parking available on site. Visitors will be directed to parking areas.
