St Patrick’s Day Parade | Brisbane

Celebrate everything Irish at the Brisbane St Patrick’s Day Parade on Saturday 16th March 2024 from 10:30am-11:30am.
There will be fun for the whole family with over 700 participants and 40 floats right in the centre of Brisbane City. The parade will start and end outside the Botanic Gardens on the corner of Alice and Albert Street. In 2023 the event will be Celebrating 200 Years of Irish Queenslanders and their impact on Brisbane and beyond.
The 2024 parade will start and end at Brisbane Botanic Gardens on Alice Street and will continue along the same route as in 2023. Due to due to flood works and repairs in 2022, organisers adjusted the parade route to proceed down Margaret Street instead of Mary Street. The parade will proceed down this same route in 2023.
In 2024, the parade will embrace the captivating theme of ‘Irish Myths and Legends’ delving into Ireland’s abundant heritage of folklore enchantment and narrative traditions that have left an indelible mark on the world. Organisers invite families to embrace the theme while we paint the town green!
Picnic in the gardens
After the parade head to the wonderful Botanic Gardens for live music and tasty food from 30 stalls offering food, drinks and crafts from 8am to approx. 2pm so the craic is to be had before and after the parade!
