Dinosaur Park Opening | Sunshine Coast

Children will be entertained by a family friendly DJ and two lifelike baby dinosaur puppets – Bill the Baby T-Rex and Kylie the Ankylosaurus.
Hunter, a 14-foot-long roaring T-Rex puppet will be handing out lollies, plus kids can have their faces painted to match the dino theme! There will be a coffee cart and delicious sausage sizzle for families to also enjoy for free*.
Children’s imaginations can run wild at Dino Park, which features a giant ‘Aura-saurus’ dinosaur play piece to swing and slide on, including a climbable neck and tail. The park is designed by Place Design Group and the dino play structure is by Urban Play.
Fun for all ages, a series of mini dino-eggs have been creatively placed for younger children to explore, while older kids can uncover unique fossil designs in the archaeological digging pit.
The recreational area is Stockland’s newest edition to Aura’s ever-growing park trail. Dino Park is set to become a social hotspot with barbeques, hammocks, restrooms and picnic shelters available for community use.
Limited parking is available near the park, we encourage you to walk or ride if you live locally.
Tickets are limited to the opening event (a waitlist has already been started) so be sure to book your FREE ticket but remember, once the park is open you can visit anytime!
