St Brendan’s School is a co-educational Catholic school for Prep to Year 6. It delivers a holistic education for students, framed by the traditions of St Brendan who had a passion for discovery and achievement.

The school places Jesus Christ at its centre and espouses Christian values through the school motto “Live in Faith and Love”.

St Brendan’s is a small school that recognises the individuality of each child, and strives to nurture their interests and characteristics and meet their varying needs. It works in partnership with parents to ensure each student is happy and successful.

Curriculum and extracurricular activities offered at St Brendan’s School:

St Brendan’s implements the Australian Curriculum in English, Mathematics, Science, History and Geography. Japanese is taught as the Languages Other Than English (LOTE) subject.

The school promotes physical education and encourages all children to take part in sporting activities, regardless of their ability. In Early Childhood grades students take part in a Motor Program to improve balance and co-ordination. Old students take part in Interschool sports including athletics, cross country and AFL. All students learn swimming during the warmer months.

Administered by Centacare, St Brendan’s offers Outside School Hours Care from 6:30am until the start of school and from 3:00pm until 6:00pm.
