Curriculum and extracurricular activities offered at St Elizabeth’s Catholic Primary School:

St Elizabeth’s has adopted the Australian Curriculum for English, Mathematics, Science, History and Geography, and these subjects are taught in general glass groups. Specialist teachers conduct lessons in Physical Education, Art, French and Music.

The school also has support teachers for literacy and numeracy, learning enhancement, and inclusive education, as well as a Teacher Librarian, Guidance Counsellor and other school officers who assist class teachers.

The school has a Beyond the Classroom program that encourages students to become involved in the school community through activities offered beyond the classroom environment. This includes sports, speech and drama, instrumental music and guitar, and chess.

Incursions and excursions are held throughout the year, and there are camps for students in Years 5 and 6.

Facilities at St Elizabeth’s Catholic Primary School:

St Elizabeth’s provides each class with access to banks of laptops or iPads, and interactive data projectors. There is also a bank of other digital devices available at the Library.

The school has attractive gardens and play spaces for the students to enjoy. Lunch breaks are spread out, and a timetable is used to allocate play spaces to different age groups at different times, so that all students have equal access.
