Why choose St Bernard’s Catholic Primary School?

For over 60 years, St Bernard’s Catholic Primary School at Upper Mt Gravatt has been educating children with a focus on nurturing excellence and embracing wisdom. Their motto is ‘Your light Guides’, and it is this motto that inspires their teachers to use the light of Christ to impart to students an example of how to live life to the full.

As a middle sized school, your child will be individually known by their caring teachers who work with the school community to build successful, confident learners.

Their relationships, learning and way of being are underpinned by Catholic Christian values which encourage their members to “Treat others as we would want to be treated.” St Bernard’s is blessed to have a beautiful church within the grounds where their students can take an active part in exploring their relationship with God. Opportunities are provided throughout the year for the students to put their learning into practice through social justice outreach to local and global communities.
