Set against the stunning backdrop of the beautiful Gold Coast hinterland is Silkwood School – a prep to high school establishment. Here you will find individualised learning plans, innovative teaching practices, flexible timetables to match student need and a concerted effort to enhance the ‘learning adventure’ of every child.

Of particular note is the Arrowsmith Program. This is an alternative program for students identified as requiring a different approach for reasons to do with learning difficulties. The program focuses on strengthening capacities rather than compensating for gaps. Students in this program become effective, confident and self-directed learners.

Silkwood school encourages students to trial for South Coast Sport opportunities and teams and endeavours to support them as much as they can in their ongoing sporting development. There is a comprehensive HPE program as well as annual swimming and athletic carnivals.
