RSPCA Wacol School Holiday Program
7 April - 16 April
The RSPCA Wacol school holiday programs are designed as a real-life experience rather than an ‘add on’ to a working day. All participants in all programs will engage in the activities that the amazing staff and volunteers perform daily. Assisting with the necessary tasks is a key part of the experience.
For those seeking to simply pat puppies and cuddle kittens, it is important to note that while there will be some of that, these programs focus on working with and learning about animals. Cleaning is a critical aspect of animal care, so if that is a concern, it may be best to reconsider if this program is the right fit.
Each day includes a tour of the entire Wacol campus to meet some of the guests who may not be part of the selected program. Breaks will be provided, so bringing something to eat is advisable. Cold water is available throughout the campus, so having a water bottle is recommended.
Closed-in shoes and a hat are required for participation, as time will be spent in the sun during all programs to ensure everyone stays sun safe.
