Playback – Retro Games Mini-Imaginarium | Bribie Island
12 July
FreeGet your retro game on at Playback, Bribie Island Seaside Museum’s mini-Imaginarium. This is a free, interactive space full of old school arcade games.
Parents, take on your teens and children to show them how original gamers do it. Test your skills and challenge each other at old school favourites like Pacman, Space Invaders, Galaga and more.
Take a walk down memory lane and share your fond memories playing the Atari or sitting at arcade games eating hot chips with the next generation.
Also learn about the global impact of technology and gaming devices on our environment. Did you known millions of electronic devices like TVs, phones and computers go to landfill each year? Less than 1% gets recycled.
While visiting the mini-Imaginarium, check out the Barely Wearable exhibition, which illustrates the impact of single-use plastic and other waste on the environment through fashion and art.
Bribie Island Seaside Museum is open Wednesday to Friday 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM and 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM on weekends.
