New Year’s Eve at South Bank

Usher in 2023 with a kaleidoscope of colour at The Lord Mayor’s New Year’s Eve Fireworks. Held at South Bank Parklands on Saturday 31 December 2022, the evening features two spectacular fireworks shows – one at 8.30pm for kids and another at midnight. The event is alcohol-free and free to attend.

The best vantage points are the Clem Jones Promenade, the Cultural Forecourt, Riverside Green and River Quay Green. To ensure you get a good view of the fireworks, make sure you arrive early.
