Make the impossible possible at the Mary Poppins Festival on Sunday 2 July 2023 from 9am-3pm at Portside Precinct, Maryborough.
Maryborough, is the birthplace of Mary Poppins author P. L Travers whose beloved novels were brilliantly adapted for the popular Disney movie of the same name and the award-winning musical. The annual Mary Poppins Festival celebrates the magical tale of Mary Poppins and its connection to the wonder of storytelling and the success of her creator.
Dress up as your favourite character for the day or sign up for The Great Nanny Race or Chimney Sweep Challenge. The Grand Parade is sure to be a highlight of the festival, with colourful floats and lively music filling the streets.
This free event is guaranteed to delight both young and the young at heart, with festival favourites, chimney sweeping, nanny races and the grand parade plus street food vendors, market stalls, rides, pavement art and live entertainment.
