FreeEnjoy a holiday adventure at the State Library and discover new ways to play during the school holidays!
Dive into the fascinating world of light and colour, science and art, as we explore our senses and the world around us in a science take-over. Discover the world of sand art in our Rangoli workshop or learn about the ancient craft of weaving. Plus, so much more to explore. All activities and workshops are FREE to join.
What’s on:
- Weaving country – learn the ancient craft of weaving, blending creativity with natural curiosity.
- Rainbow sand designs – gather your family and friends for an adventure into the world of sand art!
- Science take-over – calling all scientists and innovators! Join us for a daily exploration of all thing’s science.
- Working Country story station – make and decorate your very own rodeo hat!
- Scavenger hunt – find clues, solve puzzles and explore the secrets of the library.
- Reading room – the perfect place to unwind with picture books and city views.
