Cross River Rail School Holiday Program
5 April - 17 April

Cross River Rail has developed a range of free, fun and exciting educational activities for all ages running from 5th April 2025 to 17 April 2025, providing families with a unique opportunity to enjoy themselves while learning more about one of Australia’s largest infrastructure projects.
Activities include:
Sculpting Nature
Brisbane is a sub-tropical city, where unique native plants flourish. Many of these
plants feature in the artworks at the new underground stations, including in several
sculptures. Explore the texture of plants through the sense of touch and get inspired
to create your own sculpture. This activity is suitable for children with low or no vision.
Ozobots Go Easter Egg Hunting
From your garden to the Green Spine in the CBD, we can help bees by having
flowering plants and providing shelter. Bee ready for this exciting activity where you
can watch a beekeeper at work, taste honeycomb, and make a native bee hotel to
take home.
Easter Egg Hunt
Learning more about Cross River Rail has never been so much fun. Tour our
Experience Centre and find the hidden eggs as you go. Find the hidden eggs and
swap five for a cool prize. Ready, set, hunt!
Perfect Patterns
Patterns are everywhere, in nature, art, engineering and in the design of our station
buildings. Learn how to take a simple square and transform it into a crazy shaped
template to create a perfect pattern.
Lego Build and Create
Get ready to unleash your creativity with Lego. From construction of train stations to
flowers like those that will enhance the Green Spine along Albert Street, we have the
Lego to build it.
Bee Green
Our city is home to people, plants and animals, including some of the smallest but
most important in our ecosystems: bees. From your garden to the future Green
Spine in the CBD, we can help bees by having flowering plants and providing shelter.

honeycomb, and make a native bee hotel to take home.
