REVIEW: Yarrabilba Playground Buxton Ave | Park in Logan for Families

Yarrabilba Playground Buxton Ave is the newest addition to the master planned community in Logan’s fastest growing family friendly suburb!  It’s a free, outdoor fitness course complete with state-of-the-art digitally interactive equipment and a children’s playground featuring an 8.7m high custom Garden Tower with two humongous slides.

The playground is around a 50 minute drive from Brisbane City but far less from the Southside suburbs or the northern suburbs of the Gold Coast! Use the map of the Yarrabilba playground below to work out yoru route and the times. You will find this playground at Buxton Avenue, if you want to use your own sat nav.

Lend Lease has teamed up with Tract Consultants, Eureka Landscapes and award-winning playground company, Urban Play, to deliver the innovative obstacle course and playground to the region. The cross training circuit features equipment from industry-leading outdoor fitness equipment supplier, Kompan, which has an integrated training app that allows users of all fitness levels and abilities to make optimal use of the course. Magnetic bells which are perfect for weights training, a core twist and a bicycle is only some of the equipment that can be used by individuals or fitness groups at no charge.

The children’s playground centrepiece:

  • a bespoke 8.7m Corocord Garden Tower
  • rope tower
  • two slides
  • three in-ground trampolines
  • all-abilities swing featuring three types of swings
  • a large caterpillar made out of synthetic turf

Catering to all skills, ages and abilities this park will become a favourite for the Logan region.

  1. Please note, you have circled the wrong location for Buxton Park. The one circled on your map is actually Greenstone Park – another great park in Yarrabilba. The newly opened Buxton Park is to the north of Yarrabilba – at the other end of Buxton Avenue! Buxton Park is much larger than Greenstone Park.
