There are a number of water parks in the Sunshine Coast region. Some are free standing or attached to public pool facilities, some are in theme parks and some are attached to the bigger hotels and resorts. Hopefully you can find something in this list worth making a dive into!

Oaks Oasis, Caloundra

This is the MOTHER of all water parks! It’s attached to the Oaks Oasis Resort and you have to be staying at the resort in order to gain entry. We LOVE Oaks Oasis and we definitely recommend you take a trip there!

This is a great secret in the calm waters of Coolum! Coolum Aqua Park offers inflatable CRAZY fun for primary school kids and older. This will really wear them out!

Aussie World

In addition to the regular madcap fun at Aussie World, there’s also a water play area! It’s not quite a splash pool or water slides but there’s definitely great chance to get splashing and have some fun!

Bli Bli Watersports Complex

This is a similar set up to Coolum Aqua Park. There are a range of inflatables set up on calm water. Parks like this require upper body strength and swimming skills so you may not want to head along if you’ve only got little ones. Of particular interest is the launchpad style inflatable – see how much air you can get!

Aqua Fun Park | Novotel Twin Waters

Aqua Fun Park is Australia’s original inflatable waterpark and has relocated to inside Novotel Twin Waters Resort. Everyone is welcome! You do not need to be staying at the Resort to attend Aqua Fun Park. Aqua Fun Park is the first circuit inflatable Park in Australia. Aqua Fun Park makes for the perfect family day out!

Thrill Hill

It’s near the Big Pineapple! Thrill Hill offers the kind of heart-pumping, old-fashioned water slide fun that you remember from being a kid. They’re open 10am-5pm daily and you pay for either a one or two hour session. This is DEFINITELY old-school cool!
