Palm Beach Christmas by the Sea is a yearly Christmas extravaganza! This free, family-friendly event isn’t just about the Christmas Carols! Palm Beach Christmas by the Sea embodies everything that is wonderful and magical about Christmas time, plus so much more. Check back for details about the 2023 event.
Enjoy The Entertainment TBC 2023
The event kicks off at the Palm Beach Parklands at 4pm on Tuesday December 18, 2018. The evening is concluded at 7:30pm with a spectacular fireworks display. In previous years there has been performances by the local school choir, Currumbin Academy of Performing Arts, the church choir and other local talent. And of course no Christmas carols concert would be complete without a visit from Santa and his friends!
Activities For The Kids
Children will be in awe of all the activities offered at Christmas By The Sea’s Activity Wonderland. In addition to the entertainment and the visit from Santa there will be face painting for the kids and a petting zoo with barnyard animals! And if that’s not enough The Palm Beach Parkland also has an awesome the Pirate Treasure Island themed playground! So the kids will have a fantastic time!
Food and Drink
While you are welcome to bring along a picnic basket or use the BBQing facilities in the Palm Beach Parklands The Dune Cafe (which was voted the most kid-friendly cafe in the Gold Coast!) which is situated in the parklands will be open and serving food and drinks. There will also be a variety of food stalls at the event. Including sausage sizzle, fairy floss, snow cones and more.
Community Spirit
The event is organised by Community By The Sea; a committee of local businesses, council, youth workers, police and the local church, so the event has a welcoming, community vibe. It’s a great opportunity to get out, meet some of the locals, and have a wonderful evening coming together to enjoy the Christmas spirit.
