If you’re looking for a great way to tire your kids out, Mums and Bubs Café in Salisbury is definitely worth a visit. They’re open Monday to Friday from 9 am to 3 pm, making it a great place to spend the day while the older kids are busy in school.

Infants and babies in arms can enter for free, but the use of the play area carries an $8 fee. The carer’s entry fee (also $8) includes a delicious hot drink and a decadent piece of cake, so you can sit back and take it easy. You definitely won’t want to forget socks for your bub – the café has a strict no socks, no play rule. Your kids definitely won’t be able to visit without wanting to go nuts in the designated play areas!

The café offers areas designed with specific age groups in mind. Safety is definitely a priority, with friendly staff members making sure your kids remain safe at all times. For infants and toddlers, there are soft play areas which aim to keep your baby safe and happy. There are a range of fun, educational and motor skill development-based toys, as well as books for you to read to your baby. Your wee one will adore the range of cuddly soft toys on offer at the café as well.

If your little one is a little older than an infant but under 5 years of age, you’re also in luck. Mums and Bubs Café caters for you, too! This play area is bigger and more energetic, with a ball pit filled with thousands of brightly coloured balls, a jumping castle that the kids will go berserk over, and a fantastic inflatable obstacle course, complete with slide. What kid wouldn’t love to spend a few hours exploring this space? You’ll even find yourself yearning for a turn!

The food on offer at the café is worth the price of admission alone. You can choose from a range of drinks, from espresso coffee and English tea, to soft drinks, milk, and a range of juices. The café also sells light snacks, heavier meals, gourmet sandwiches, pizzas, noodles, curries, and a range of decadent cakes and slices. If you’re not salivating already, you will be once you see what Mums and Bubs Café has on offer!
